What lead Christina to become a Healing Artist?
Christina's interest in the healing arts began as she read many books on the subject.  Of particular inspiration was Dr. Andrew Weil's book "Spontaneous Healing" which had in it a description of Cranial Sacral Therapy that completely fascinated her.  Although she was, at that time, working as a fashion photographer in New York City, she was instictively drawn to the healing work that Dr. Weil discussed.

When her grandmother passed away, Christina's sorrow over this loss threw her into a latent grieving process over her brother's death from many years before.  This overwhelming combination lead her to look into the healing arts she had been so interested in from a distance, to actually help support her in her own healing process.  After questioning much of her life, Christina moved to Los Angeles in 2002 to make a fresh start.  Here she took her first class in Cranial Sacral Therapy and immediately dedicated herself to a path of becoming a Healing Artist.

What makes her sessions unique?  Christina would eventually come to study many modalities in addition to CST, including Polarity Therapy, Somatic Trauma Resolution, Process Work, Reiki, Shamanic Work, and Massage.  She also began studying many forms of movement and dance, as well as Improvisational Expression.  Christina now combines all of her passions into creating fun and expansive experiences through group workshops.  Her wide and varied interests also enhance her private sessions as she has many skills that she can call upon to meet each individual's needs in the moment.

What type of training does Christina have?
Christina received her training at Polarity Healing Arts of California and at The Institute of Psycho-Structural Balancing.  She is also involved in studying different forms of movement including Gabrielle Roth's The 5 Rythms, Vin Marti's Soul Motion, Emile Conrad's Continuum Movement, Camille Maurine's Moving Theater, and Turning the Wheel Community Dance Theater.  Long after Christina's years in New York, she now finds herself in a completely different life: one filled with healing, creativity, and the expressive arts.  It brings her great joy to share all of this with her clients.
